In this framework, Biden is the inevitable counterrevolution to Trump

Alinsky on degeneracy and good times creating weak men

Much like the humiliated citizens of the Globalist American Empire

Alinsky explains why conservatives who operate in the leftist moral framework are fools. The moral framework is designed to uphold the status quo. Instead, they have to answer to a high power and affirm a traditional moral framework

The virgin “what if the roles were reversed” versus the chad Indian government outlawing passive resistance

ie a mass movement based around ending vax tyranny or even angry parents at a school board meeting, once mobilised can achieve all sorts of other ends we like.

“A people organized around [any issue] is an organized people on the move!”

You can tell this guy knows what he’s talking about because his predictions came true just a little bit later

Many people accuse Trump (and others) of having an “ego.” They don’t realize that this is, to a certain degree, necessary for victory

Probably everyone here knows this but this stuff is really important for the normie who thought Trump was too mean and “just wants everyone to get along and heal duh division”

You need to join your local gop, even if a lot of them are gonna be cringe. Organize around literally any issue and you have an organization

The Left learned all of these things long ago, when Alinsky was writing them, and they are not things that are exclusive to the Left, so we need to learn from them

Do not be an “enlightened centrist.” Be as zealous as a triggered libtard

Finally the most famous part of the book, the “rules”

It seems that trolls accidentally and spontaneously adhered to these principles in 2016, so I believe there is something to them. The question is if and how this can be recreated. Apparently Alinsky was able to consciously do so. Or perhaps he was simply riding the wave of his own generation of spontaneously generated shitposters

This rule is very interesting. We see it a lot in action in the Biden administration and in the managerial class in general. It is their equivalent to being anon

Reading this text is also great for understanding the behavior of the Left that at first might seem “crazy” or “contradictory.” It doesn’t have to make sense, it just has to work

This is the reason why Dick’s biggest problem of “political canonization” exists

Where is the action of the Right in a post-Trump era? It’s gone. This is why things seems dead. It isn’t because we’ve been defeated so much as that the fun is gone. Perhaps this is the purpose of the Covid lockdowns. They are fun killers. But the flipside is that there are more rules to break than ever before. And breaking the rules is always fun

Rehashing 2016 can get tedious. It sounds like Al Bundy talking about playing football. But it is important to analyze it and figure out why it worked. No need to write it off as simply a fluke, that’s the blackpilled way of looking at things. The establishment is becoming weaker even as it becomes more totalitarian. It is vulnerable to these tactics

The fact that this type of tactic could never work now illustrates how the modern woke corporation is NOT motivated by profits over ideology. You could NEVER trick Google into supporting a right wing position to spite Apple. Could not happen.

However, I bet you could play one woke group off of another (ie blacks vs trannys) with some amount of success

We will have to see in the Jan 6 protestors fit this pattern. It may be a case of the establishment being softer to dissidents during Alinskys time, or we may look back on it as he describes here.

But, the Jan 6 protestors are more or less normie republicans. They are sympathetic figures. So, it would be wise to canonize them.

Attacking the banks apparently has a long history

Another tactic that could never work in today’s low trust society. If a bank did this everyone would just shrug their shoulders

The problem is if the banks and their large customers are part of the same mafia-like alliance, this will not work. They’ll both team up against and smash the protesters.

Liberalism is what allowed them, acting as independent self-interested agents, to be subverted by Alinsky and his goons

This is really funny for a number of reasons

1) compare this attitude to the attitude of “they’re a private company, they can do whatever they want!” that not only the right, but now even the left, repeats like it’s in the constitution or something. It wasn’t always like that

2) this guy just makes up that people have “a right to their job” out of fucking nothing and everyone goes along with it because fuck it. Chad 1930s leftist labor leader vs virgin 2021 leftist nwo bootlicker

This is how people who want to win and truly want it act

I know this is not the first time someone has suggested this, but how can we use a similar strategy to, for example, play the blacks off of the lgbt off of the feminists, etc? Isn’t there some way to exploit these fractures?

@justanothertoxicmale I guess it's possible in the abstract, but it depends on what goals you're trying to push. If your goal is "save western civilization," you'll be stuck because it's too big with no first steps. Look at this recent PF march. Did it accomplish anything? Maybe it helped them with recruitment, but it didn't achieve any thing institution wise.

@boomcoast the goal is to put more right wing people in power and have them wield that power towards right wing policies, while doing the opposite to the left

@justanothertoxicmale Even that's pretty vague. What's "in power?" Does president count? It seems like the power of the president can be nullified by 3 letter agencies.
I know it's a meme at this point, but "build a wall" was a tangible goal that was achievable. A more local goal might be something like stopping racial scapegoating (crt) in your local school. Maybe that's why Biden's trying to label parents groups as terrorists.

@boomcoast this excerpt is from a chapter that basically says having vague goals is a good thing

@justanothertoxicmale Yeah, it's been a while since I've read the book. I'd think you'd need both.
